Topic: /BP pdfmark to /AP << /N image not printing

My program generates a dynamic button face, by capturing postscript commands into an xobject with /BP and /EP, and then assigning a button to use the xobject for it's normal appearance with /AP << /N.

Problem is the button face comes through fine on screen and looks nice, but doesn't show up when I print (even though I set /F 4 in the button definition).

Can anyone see the problem? Should I generate/capture dynamic button faces differently?

I do the following...

1) [/BBox [ 167 2500 434 2668 ] /_objdef {IBM} /BP pdfmark
2) ...bunch of postscript commands drawing the face
3) [/EP pdfmark
4) [ /T (mybutton) /Subtype /Widget /FT /Btn /Rect [ 167 2500 434 2668 ] /F 4 /Ff 65536 /AP << /N {IBM} >> /ANN pdfmark

Again, everything is fine on sceen, just doesn't print.

Thanks for any insight
