Topic: Printing highlight marks

There was a topic directly on point, but I never was able to find the last post to see if the question was answered, so I'm going to ask it again. We have a PDF which was converted from a TIFF. We're opening it in Adobe Acrobat 5 and running the paper capture utility. We are then using the highlighter tool to highlight specific words in the text. All well and good. However when we go to print, the highlighting does not show, except for a very faint outline. We've tried printing to a color printer and the display is no better. This is Adobe 5.0, on a Windows 2000 machine. Is it that the highlighting available in Adobe is only for online use? Does another version of Adobe behave better in this regard? Thanks for any insights....
