I just recently experienced some sudden and bizarre behavior in Acrobat 6 Pro. When I went to save my interactive PDF form using Reduce File Size, the JS in my text fields onfocus__ and onblur__ events no longer respond as they once it did. I also noticed that the file went from around 29 kb up to 100kb without having made any changes other than simple JS editions to my form. I then used PDF Optimizer and it brought the size back down to 29 kb but the text fields still remain like default text fields as they not recognizing my JS when I enter or leave the text fields. Strangely enough, my combo fields and check boxes are not affected, and I am also able to access all my Document JS in my Editor. Has anyone ever experienced this type of behavior and if so can it be easily corrected? This has now happened to me twice as I restored a saved version of the PDF file, worked on my JS for about an hour without problem, then without warning, when I went to save again, the same phenomena reoccurred. Any help regarding this issue is appreciated. BTW, I'm working in Windows 2000 Pro.
