Topic: Singing a Ceritified Document/ Ramifications of Password not being requested by Acrobat 6.0

We are signing a certified document in our tasks in Acrobat class. In our study guide ( Classroom in a Book) by Adobe Press, we are affixing our digital ID- the text indicates we are to enter a password in the Confirm Password box. However in both versions of 6.0 (Std) and (Pro) we either dont get asked to enter/confirm the password or it is intermittent. Wondering what others think about the concerns of affixing a Digital ID to a document but not being asked our password.Could someone not use our computers to Sign a Ceritifed Document with our Digital ID breaching security as they are not being asked the password before the program affixes the signature? Thoughts on this from others? Thanks.
