Topic: Acrobat launching from Distiller printer even with option disable

I have searched the well-known forums for assistance on this, but the other similar problems do not appear to match my symptoms.
Running Win XP, Acrobat v5.0.5. The Distiller printer Adobe PDF Settings are set to disable prompt for PDF filename and disable view results in Acrobat. Delphi application creates some PDFs using the .Print method of internal (i.e. Delphi) text reports. The printer is set to Acrobat Distiller, the PDFs are created into the desired folder with no prompt, and Acrobat does not launch when the PDFs are created. However, when the same app (as part of the same workflow) opens a 3rd party program (JetForm FillerPro v5) to create a report and uses the .Print on that object, the PDF is created but Acrobat launches to view. This same application code worked without launching Acrobat in a Win 9x/NT, Acrobat v4 environment. Oh, by the way, there are no Postscript compatible printers connected to this system, although a couple have been created in Printers and Faxes. (Don't think that matters.)
Can anyone shed some light? I have reviewed the SDK information and it doesn't seem to help unless I want to modify the app to call on Distiller directly and submit PS files. The selection of Acrobat Distiller printer and .Print methods seemed to work great before. Just can't shake off that Acrobat launching now.
Look forward to your wisdom and help!
