When encoding documents from MS-Word XP (2002) to a PDF file using Acrobat 6.0 Pro, some images on the resulting PDF page suddenly have a partial border around them. This border appears as a 1px black line, that is at one or more edges of the image.
The screen rendering of the PDF file has the lines appearing and disappearing on different sides of the image as you zoom in and out of the document. The printed PDF does not contain the border lines. When looking at the screen rendering in Adobe, the problem images sometimes look like they are inset (sunken in), but that doesn't necessarily mean that they will print with lines.
This seems to only be happening from MS-Word 2002, version 2003 is OK.
Can someone please offer assistance.
