I use a server-side framework to generate PDF on the fly.
When the user click on a "print" link in a page, the server generate the PDF stream, set the content type of the HTTP response to "application/pdf" and print the stream in the response.
It works fine but : When the client (Internet explorer) receive the HTTP response, It does not directly show the pdf content but automatically generate an HTML page with an "embed" object in which refer to the called URL.
So the client request a second time the same URL and my server has to generate the PDF stream a second time.
Is there a way to avoid this behavior?
