A newcomer to Adobe 6 and a recent convert to Apple Mac., I have
an apparently intractable problem. Any attempt to download a site
with PDF in the url or to download a PDF embedded in a downloaded
url, results invariably in a white, blank window, with a Quick Time
Player logo, in blue, neatly placed in the centre! Attempts to obtain
assistance via Adobe, have been stymied, as most of the relevant
ones are on PDF! Contacts with AWUG helpline have explored just
about every known avenue, to no effect. Two other helplines have
also had, eventually, to admit defeat.

What on earth has Quick Time /Apple or Adobe got against me?

I have re-downloaded Adobe [twice].
Details as foll. Mac OS 10.2.8, Safari 1.0.3[v85.8],Adobe 6.0.2
I must admit that I am in despair!
