Topic: How to print multiple PDF's with same print properties in SDK for VB?

Hi all,

I'm having a problem automating a print job for multiple pdf's with custom print properties, set by the user of the application (all pdf's should be printed with the same props). Setting the print properties for the first pdf is easy using AcroExchApp.MenuItemExecute ("Print"). But how can I keep these settings and automatically print the other pdf's using these print settings? AcroExchAVDoc(fIndex).PrintPages prints only with the default print settings and is of no use to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. (Mailto: stijn@fotek.com)

Source code (in VB 6.0, using the Acrobat SDK, List1 contains the paths + filenames of the pdf's):

Dim fIndex As Integer
Dim AcroExchApp As CAcroApp
Dim AcroExchAVDoc() As CAcroAVDoc

Private Sub cmdPrint_Click()

ReDim AcroExchAVDoc(0)
Set AcroExchAVDoc(0) = CreateObject("AcroExch.AVDoc")
AcroExchAVDoc(0).Open(List1.List(0), "")
AcroExchApp.MenuItemExecute ("Print")

Dim AcroPDDoc As CAcroPDDoc

For fIndex = 1 To List3.ListCount - 1

Set AcroPDDoc = AcroExchAVDoc(fIndex).GetPDDoc()
AcroExchAVDoc(fIndex).PrintPages 0, AcroPDDoc.GetNumPages() - 1, 1, True, True

Next fIndex

AcroPDDoc.Close
Set AcroPDDoc = Nothing

End Sub
