I checked adobe online

to see why I was getting

Error "Unable to locate...run the installer in repair mode?" occurs when you convert Word documents to PDF (Acrobat 6.0 on Windows)

And it didn't fix it. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
PS I'm using Acrobat 6.0, Office 2000 on a PC
