Spoke too soon didn't I.
With a little further investigation, I found out that this will actually
be possible. Where the review has been initiated from Acrobat 7 Professional, and
then the Reader users get an FDF file sent to them and it's in here
where the server settings are defined. Thus, Reader users just need to
double click on this FDF file to load the PDF up in the browser and
start commenting.
Nice one Adobe! This is surely going to encourage more and more
organizations to get cracking on setting up centralized review processes
now that you can do it with the free Reader.
