I found strange behavior about Acrobat Reader 6.0 (or standard Acrobat 6.0). When I open Acrobat Reader for the first time, it consumes around 35MB of memory & when I minimize it, the memory consumption drops to around 2-3MB. Again when I maximize, the consumption goes to 5-6 MB, and stays like that. When I open a document the memory consumption increases and reduces when I minimize the reader. In this case, why does it consume so huge 35 MB when its opened for the first time whereas what it actually wants is 5-6 MB ? If anybody knows about this please let me know. Also, can we have something like, it consumes minimal memory when it opens up for the first time.

Also when I keep any document open, the memory consumption increases gradually. For a typical case, I left a 200 KB doc open, the memory consumption increases from 10MB to 11.5MB in around 15 minutes time.

Have any of you faced such an issue.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
