Hello, all -

I have a major production problem. We have an in-house application running on a citrix server that is producing crystal reports (version 8.5 developer). Administrators were previously logging into this application(via IE Browser), and printing reports to PDF locally from the citrix server. They had Acrobat 4.0 on their desktops, and everything worked fine.
We upgraded them to Acrobat 6.0 professional, now the report files take FOREVER to be created, and the file sizes are enormous!
As an example: a 1,900 page file created with acrobat 4.0 was approx. 7-8 meg. A 1,900 page file created with acrobat 6.0 is now 135 meg!
I did a space audit on both the old and new PDF files, and I noticed that the old file was 98% content stream, and the new file was 98% image!!
Whatever i do, I am still getting PCL sent to the Acrobat 6.0 print driver, instead of the postscript that would give me 'content stream'.
Please note - nothing has changed in the crystal or citrix settings - the only thing that has changes is the local installation of Acrobat.
Any help - online or offline - is greatly appreciated, and needed!!

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
