Accurately put, Leonard. But using LiveCycle as an authoring tool is very time consuming as a layout tool. Illustrator and CorelDraw are much easier to design/layout a form. Then bring into PDF format and replicate the fields with parent-child suffixes. Write the javascript and DONE!
I thought the whole idea of an upgrade was to make life easier, not harder.
Think about some poor devil coming along now who can't buy Acro 5 and has to use 6 or 7. Bummer. Adobe got rid of Approval and Business solutions so the user community has to rely on extensions at a layout of mega$$$$ for the designer.
We are sliding backwards and I remain unimpressed.
