Hello all.
One of my job functions requires that I regularly sign .PDF documents converted from MS Word for use by a wide and varied customer base. I recently upgraded to Acrobat 7.0 Standard (soon to be Pro when my LOD goes through), and when signing the PDF files, they now have a File... Document Properties... PDF Version of 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x). This causes Adobe Reader versions 5.0 and 6.0 to present a warning about incompatibility.
How can I sign a PDF file using Acrobat Std/Pro 7.0 in such a way as to be compatible with previous versions of Adobe Reader? I'd almost like a "Sign Document (6.0 compatible)" pull-down or "Can be Opened by" option similar to the Document Security screen.
Thanks in advance for the help!
