Although you can hack together a system with Acrobat 6 and 7 simultaneously
installed, you cannot do so with fully functionality fully maintained.
Adobe does NOT, repeat again and again, Adobe does NOT encourage or
support concurrent installation of multiple versions of Acrobat and/or
Acrobat and Reader, regardless of version, on the same computer system.
If you do so, you are pretty much on your own and should expect various
problems associated with mixing-and-matching software components not
designed to be so mixed and matched!
