Topic: Reader stopped working!

All of a sudden acrord32.exe has stopped working. When attempting to load I get an error report just after seeing the Adobe logo.

I've uninstalled/reinstalled both v 7 then 6. I'm running XPpro.

Here are a couple event reports:
"Faulting application acrord32.exe, version 7.0.0.0, faulting module msvcr71.dll, version 7.10.3052.4, fault address 0x000017fb." (I then downloaded and reinstalled msvcr71.dll)

"Faulting application acrord32.exe, version 6.0.2.126, faulting module acrord32.exe, version 6.0.2.126, fault address 0x0004e490."

Anyone have a clue what the deal is and how to repair?
