Topic: AcroPDF.dll in VB 6

I'm attempting to use AcroPDF.dll in VB6. I'm able to drop the control on my Form, code against it, and everything appears to work fine. However, if I close and re-open the project, I get an error when attempting to view the Form in VB, and it generates a log file for that form containing:

Line 13: Cannot load control AcroPDF1.

I can re-insert the control on the Form, and everything will be OK again. I can also compile to an executable, and the executable runs fine. I tried creating an empty application, with one Form, containing only the Acrobat control and I see the same results. I've also tried this on 2 computers, one running VB 6 SP6, and one running VB 6 with no service packs installed.

When I was reading about using AcroPDF.dll in the SDK, all of the examples were in VB.NET. Despite being an ActiveX component, is AcroPDF.dll not compatible with VB 6? Has anyone else out there witnessed this behavior?

Thanks in advance for your help!
