Hi all at PlanetPDF...

first of all I'm new here and I'm not really sure this is the right section for my problem, in case it's not - please move it or let me know...

when trying to print a postscript-File I'll get the following error message when sending the ps-file to the printer:

ERROR: undefined

this is the way I have created the ps-file:

- Open PDF-file in Acrobat Reader 7 (or any other version)
- Print the PDF to my self written printer-driver which outputs EMF-format
- Print the EMF on a printer-DC of a postscript-printer (for example Canon IR105 M2 PS 2.0) to file
- copy the resulting ps-file to printer -> ERROR

however when activating option "print as image" it works, but the resulting EMF's size is too big due the 300dpi bitmap for each page...

when not using this option, Acrobat Reader sends Postscript-ESCAPE-Sequences (through the DOCUMENTEVENT_ESCAPE -> ExtEscap of the printer driver's interface) which will be captured by the EMF and also work when doing a playback of the emf...

so what does the error-message above mean??
any ideas?

if you'll need more informations or a sample EMF/PS/PDF then just let me know...

thanx 4 help!
kind regards from Germany

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
