I'm trying to figure out where to start with a project I have been given, but I am cross-eyed from all the reading I have done today and at some point I got "lost". :)

I need to have a downloadable PDF file that is secured from saving from the browser plugin, can only be printed a certain number of times - basically, download it in the browser, print it once, and you are done.

I can't tell if I need to look at some eBook information, the new LiveCycle application, Acrobat 7 Pro, or something else all together?

This is for a public web site, similar to sites I have seen with electronic content. The pdf files will be purchased, a link given to them for download, then once it has been downloaded, they can print it once, but after that it's basically useless unless they just want to read it on the screen.

Is this just wishful thinking? Or is there a combination of things I can do to accomplish this?

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
