Hi Aandi (and folks),

I must ask... Why do you say " Developing from the 7.0 SDK (now $99) might
be a little hit-or-miss and isn't recommended."

That is Acrobat i.e. the version of Adobe's software for working with PDFs
that costs money.

>...what's the SDK??

In general, an SDK is a software development kit; the stuff a developer
needs to work with a product. There are SDKs for all sorts of things, and
Acrobat has the Acrobat SDK.

Acrobat's SDK, like most of them, is dominated by documentation (over 10,000
pages of it); but also header files, samples and stuff. The SDK includes
information on how to use OLE to automate Acrobat, and on the Forms API,
which can be used to read form information.

You do have a problem; like Acrobat 5.0, the Acrobat 5.0 SDK is
discontinued. Developing from the 7.0 SDK (now $99) might be a little
hit-or-miss and isn't recommended.
