Topic: Merging pdf files into a template pdf file

Here is my situation:

I have a pdf file set up as a template for a project. In this template there are places to put other documents as they are generated.

I need a way to allow people to take these documents as they are generated, convert them into a pdf format and insert them into the template. Then save the new pdf file.

The deal is, the users are very novice and I would like to automate this process as much as possible.

I do not know much about programming, but what I am thinking is perhaps a script that when executed will take these documents (that can have a specified name) and insert is into the template where the document with that name should go and then output the new pdf file.

Thank you,
CL
