I am a volunteer for a large organization in working with their PDF documents, turning PDF docs into PDF writable forms, as well as taking Word files created by someone else and turning them into PDF files.
I have just been given a Word document with the national logo in the upper left hand corner. I am asked to turn this Word doc into a PDF file.
Normally I would just print the file to the Adobe printer, creating a nice PDF file.
In this instance, for some reason which I cannot understand, there is a box around the logo that appears when I write the Word doc to the Adobe printer.
I am at a loss as to what is causing this box around the logo and how to get rid of it. The box appears to be an outline around the graphic. The box does not appear in the Word doc.
I am using the Adobe Professional v6.0.3. Is there a way I can erase the box once the PDF file is created, or is there something I can do to the Word doc so that the box is not created when written to the Adobe printer?
Thanks to all for your assistance.
