I have pdfs that I added backgrounds to using 6.0. I used pdfoptimzer to set the compatibility to 5.0 and later. 4.0 and later would not work because of the backgrounds. Until recently these pdfs could be opened up and viewed with acrobat 4.0. I had some new pdfs that I added backgrounds to and set the compatibility to 5.0 just like always. Now for some reason when trying to open in 4.0 an error message appears that says:
The instruction at "0x00521063" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".
I tried a search in google for this error and it came back with nothing.
Does anyone know what the problem could be?
