I know this questions has been asked a bunch, but I have found not satisfactory answers. In addition, I am new to using the acrobat.dll that comes with Acrobat. So, I may be over look things as well.

Here is background and my questions:

A bunch of PDF's are generated and stored on a file system daily. The client needs a utility that will go through these (based on a variety of paramenters) and send the to various printers (records rooms). So, I need to automate the printing of PDFs with the ability to set the printer. Sounds like a pretty straight forward task to me, but my searching as proved otherwise.

After much searching, it seems that I could use the acrobat.dll to do this. And, I actually was able to automate the printing of pdfs using AVDoc and AVApp. The problem is I cannot figure out how to set the printer (and we will have about 100 of them). Am I going down the right path, but missing something. Or, should I be going some other route. This seems like it should be a pretty straight forward common task. Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the details of the environment:

-Windows XP Pro
-.Net C# wrapping Acrobat.dll
-Network printers all of the place
-We have Acrobat 6 licences, but I have been playing with 7

If other info would be helpful, please let me know.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
