I use WinXp+SP2 and Office 2003 and I've recently loaded Acrobat 7 Pro.
Following the installation of Acrobat 7, opening Word gave the following error message:
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library - Runtime Error - Program C:\Program\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\winword.exe" "
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information"
Clicking OK terminates Word.
Restarting Word gives the error message:
"Word experienced a serious error the last time the addin
'acrobat..pdfmaker.dll' was opened. Would you like to disable this add-in?"
Clicking Yes lets Word open normally, without the pdfmaker toolbar.
Clicking No displays the Runtime error message above.
The pdf toolbars are present in Excel, etc.
I've tried removing and re-installing Acrobat, but no joy.
I've posted this on the Acrobat forum, but no responses.
Maybe its a Word problem?
Can anyone help?
