I am developing a VB solution for a client but have never had to need to create pdf. I now need to merge several documents into one pdf and apply bookmarks.

I have a access database which contains the a record for every pdf file I have. I need to be able to look at the database (I can achieve this myself) and then pass to the Adobe object some pdf files to merge, and also bookmarks to apply to the document. I want the bookmarks to simply be some information to link to the top of the individual files that went into making up this one pdf.

To achieve this, what technologies do I need to utilise? Do I need to delve into the Adobe SDK or does anyone know of a tool avaliable which would easily allow me to do this, either with program functions which I could utilise (IE an OCX) or a program which would perform all this functionality?

Thanks and Kind Regards,

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
