The newbe I am wants to avoid any active content in his PDF document when creating it from a Microsoft Office file (.doc, .xls or .ppt) including active contents such as Visual Basic macros.
In that way, I plan to convert into PDF 1.2 (acrobat 3.0 compliant) but I'm not sure this old version of format doesn't provide any active content.
In fact, does someone know if there are versions of PDF formats that provide no active content at all ? Or is there another way to get "inactive PDF" when converting documents with active contents ?
