Topic: Adobe PDF Menu Quit Working

Let me see if I can explain the course of events just before the menu quit working.

Adobe Acrobat 6.0.
Word 2000
CutePDF Form Filler

Yesterday, I installed Reader 7 to test with Cute PDF Form Filler.

I opened a Word document I needed to PDF and found that the Adobe PDF Menu wouldn't work. It was there as was the toolbar, but when I clicked the menu nothing happened.

I thought the combination of Acrobat 6 and Reader 7 might be causing it, so I uninstalled Reader 7 and Acrobat 6 including all the updates.

I reinstalled Acrobat 6. I opened my Word document and nothing changed.

I can create a PDF using the tool bar but I need to change some of the conversion settings which are only accessible through the Adobe PDF menu.

Any suggestions???

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
