Topic: Font descriptor error

I have a question that I'm hoping someone out there can answer.

First of all, I'm using Amyuni's PDF Creator to edit PDFs and save them after the changes have been made. (Not sure what relevance that will have, but I'm mentioning it.)

I receive forms that have been created by other people who want others to be able to type in fields, etc. The original forms open up fine in BOTH Adobe Reader (4, 5, 6, and 7) and Amyuni. Now, when I add fields to the original forms using Amyuni's converter, if I attempt to save those changes, I get an error on /some/ forms saying "Font descriptor error" or ones similar to it. Most of the time, it cites a wingding type font.

I wanted to know if there was a way to analyze the PDF (I've tried 3 Planet Analyzer - or whatever it's called - and it did nothing) or if I could look at the syntax behind and see what could be causing this issue so I can tell Amyuni what they can do to fix it.

Thanks in advance,

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
