Topic: Error message converting Pagemaker file to PDF

I am not an expert with Adobe products so please bear with me. My predecessor at work created a large number of forms using Adobe Pagemaker versions 6 and 6.5 which I am in the process of converting to PDF (using Acrobat 5) to enable a range of users to view them on our intranet. The conversion process went smoothly enough when all the files were stored on an old Windows 95 PC but I am having a problem since everything has been transferred over to a Windows 2000 PC. When I use the File Export option in Pagemaker 6.5 everything is OK until I reach the point where I name the PDF filename to be saved - I then get the following error - "PM65.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program". The only option to select is a Cancel button and this just closes Pagemaker down.
A colleague has suggested that Pagemaker 6.5 may not be compatible with Windows 2000 but I can open, edit and resave files in Pagemaker perfectly well - it is only when trying to convert to PDF I have this problem.
Does anyone have any suggestions for this novice please?

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
