I recently had to replace my hard drive and am currently wrestling with getting all of my system software back OK.
I am having an odd problem with IE. It will not respond to any request to download or open a .pdf file-- all I get is the little checkered square in the upper left hand corner. The same thing happens when I try to open a .pdf file in IE.
On the other hand, my Opera browser works fine.
If I need a new Adobe plug in for IE, how do I get and install it?
