I am brand new to using PDF - reading around this forum, you guys all know it so well this question will seem naive. If I am asking questions in the wrong place - apologies
Want to use for home office use - archiving computer created and scanned documents, some multisource, many scanned multipage. What features are important and what easy to use relatively inexpensive programme should I get.
Features it seems I need are
Links in all documents made into hyper links
Web addresses automatically made to links - even (especially) in scanned articles
merge different file formats without conversion
insert new material into existing PDF- pages and paragraphs
Scan Software - multi pages straight into single pdf document and OCR recognition.
It's only in the using you realise what key features are important, and I have not yet started serious use (Chicken and egg!) so any other features that I should look for?
Any good publication for the beginer to read?
