I was curious if you ever found a solution. I don't know how similar our problems are, but I would like my PDF's to be password protected, all with the same password and depending and be able to unlock the pdf, by providing the password to the pdf or some other means for a user to view it from the site. I don't want them to be able to go to directly to the PDF. If they do I don't want it to allow them access, but if they go through the website, i will unlock it and give them access.
