Not sure if I've picked the right Forum. I need to know the procedure to set up watched folders on a network server and/or a Elite Enterprise Server? Our Firm has LAN network server, wherein users can save documentation in a Document Management System (iManage), or in locally stored drives on the server.
Accounting has a separate Elite Enterprise Server. The invoices are not saved through the DMS - rather they are saved locally. Each invoice is created in Word. What would be the most efficient way to automatically create pdfs from a select number of invoices? They are looking at approximately 5,000 invoices on a monthly basis. Ideally, they would like to have the "system" automatically place these selected Word invoices in a watched folder, creating pdfs from each one, and save to a designated out folder in a specified local drive. Please help! I printed out the Help topic for using watched folders to convert PS files automatically, but do not know if this is possible on a network server as well as how does one get a bulk batch of word documents created as postscript files into the watched folder to pdf?
