After reading through a lot of posts on this board I finally thought I had figured out the (seemingly common) problem of getting the quads for a string that I have located in a PDF file (Acrobat 7 Pro).

Please see the attached code for where I have got to. Essentially I have used the ExecuteThisJavascript method of the Forms object to execute this script:
event.value = this.getPageNthWordQuads(0,54);

This works fine and returns tthe quads when typed straight in to the debugger within acrobat but...

I get the following error in the debugger within the Acrobat file I am opening and a null string for strQuads in VBA:
"InvalidSetError: Set not possible, invalid or unknown.
Event.value:1:External undefined:Exec"

I am stuck as to whatI am doing wrong. Any help at all would be most appreciated.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
