Greetings!

I am using Acrobat Pro 7.0 and I need help finding a relaible way to get the
index number of an item selected.

I dynamically populate my combobox from a variety of text fields. I want to
be able obtain the list index of the item clicked on from my combobox.

For instance, my content might look like:

NONE SELECTED
Smith Co. (Bank of America)
Smith Co. (Wachovia)
Bob Smith (Wells Fargo)
Joe Smith (Able Credit Union)
Smith Co. Payroll (Bank of America)

I would assume the index values to be:

0 NONE SELECTED
1 Smith Co. (Bank of America)
2 Smith Co. (Wachovia)
3 Bob Smith (Wells Fargo)
4 Joe Smith (Able Credit Union)
5 Smith Co. Payroll (Bank of America)

I try to use currentValueIndices but the results are not reliable. I want to
select an item and immediately acquire the index value.

Can anyone help me!?!?!?!

Thanks in advance

Larry
