Topic: Loading plug ins under AA7

Hi all,

I successfully used following scenario with AA6.

- same plug in (say a.api) under 2 different folders
- ASAtom GetExtensionName() stores&returns unique names (time or folder based)
- PluginExportHFTs() checks the stored name
....

With AA7 it looks to me like both plug ins share the same memory. With AA6 they don't.
If I alter one plug in, so they have different filenames (a.api and a1.api) AA7 acts like they are different.

I know my approach isn't crystal clear, but it helps me to avoid annoying Adobe's message box about 2 plug ins with the same name. Is my understanding correct that there is no way to have 2 plug ins with the same filename under AA7?

TIA

Roman
