Hi All,
This is my first post and was browsing through other ppls query but cant seem to find an answer to mine.

Well i am using Acrobat Reader 7.0 and developing a pdf creator using the its classes.

I am using the following AcroAppClass
and AcroAVDocClass.

The process i am using is to convert selected images into PDF, the conversion happens smoothly.
But when i add a document , word file or so
to the same pdf... the images get reduced to a thumbnail and even print incorrectly

This is the way i create the image file

Private Sub ProcessImage(ByVal strIFN As String, ByVal lngOrderId As Long)

Dim strImagespath ="C:\Images"
Try

strIFNImages = "Img01"

Dim oAcroApp As New AcroAppClass
Dim oAvDoc As New AcroAVDocClass
'To get the PDF version
Dim oPdDoc As CAcroPDDoc

Dim intCtr As Integer = 1
Dim strImageFile As String
strImageFile = strImagespath & strIFNImages

oAvDoc.Open(strImageFile, "")
oAvDoc = CType(oAcroApp.GetActiveDoc, AcroAVDocClass)

If oAvDoc.IsValid Then
oPdDoc = CType(oAvDoc.GetPDDoc, CAcroPDDoc)
oPdDoc.Save(1, Path.Combine(strImagespath, intCtr & FileExtension.PDF))
intCtr = intCtr + 1
oPdDoc.Close()
oPdDoc = Nothing
oAvDoc.Close(0)
End If

Next
oAvDoc = Nothing
oAcroApp = Nothing

Catch sysex As Exception
Throw New CCSException(sysex, CCSErrorCodes.ProcessImageFailed, strIFN)
Finally
oTwrUtil = Nothing

End Try

End Sub

At the end of this, a merge method is called
I have noticed the Image PDFs get created with a resolution = 496%
While the document files get created with 118% resolution.

I would be thankful for any advice on what to do

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
