I'm fairly new to PDF development, but am working on an application that has been able to create PDF's for some time now. Thus far we've only supported simple font encodings, and I've been charged with adding Unicode/multibyte support.
After reviewing the Text portion of the PDF spec several times, I've tried to create a working PDF with a TrueType font embedded. I'm getting the generic "There was a problem opening the PDF" error when I try to view it.
Could one of you experts out there please glance at this and let me know if something's missing, or if I'm trying to do something that can't be done? I've snipped out the irrelevant portions of the PDF (graphics states, etc. that I KNOW work) and have left the basic font infrastructure (Font and FontDescriptor objects, etc.)
Also, we have the full version of Acrobat - does anyone have any recommendations for debugging tools/plugins?
Many thanks in advance.
