I created an adobe document using adobe professional 6.0 with a lot of form fields and some java scripts. The idea was for people to use the form on their laptops, where they only have adobe reader, fill out the form and just save it onto their laptops. Once we did that. It did not work.
They got the message: You can only save a blank copy fo this form. Can't save data of this form.
Why not? Is it because they only have Adobe Reader? But why is it then possible for a friend of mine that only has Adobe Reader to download an adobe form from a website, such as IRS, fill it out locally and save it onto his desktop?
How can the users of the form fill it out and save it? Any help is greatly appreciated.
