Topic: InsertPages for IAC VB6-AA6 Pro

Running VB6 (Excel 2000) and AA6 Pro under WinXP. I've got the SDK for AA5 and pieces of the SDK for AA7. I've studied the examples for VB pretty closely. I can't decide if I'm getting my feet wet learning this IAC gig or if I'm up to my hips in objects. I think both. I can open the AA6 viewer and open up some PDF's and display them(y-e-a-h!). But the InsertPages documentation completely loses me and there are no code examples using this object. How does the instance id variable fit in?
Could someone either lay out or point me to a code example (VB) that sets up the necessary objects/strings and then deploys them in an InsertPages method/object. Something basic like load up two PDF docs and insert a page from one into the other would be very instructive. I see that I can have a PDDoc in hand without displaying it. Does this mean I can InsertPages without displaying the two PDF's in the viewer? Or InsertPages without even the viewer running?

Thanks
Dave
