I want to overlay text on a form-like document already in PDF (attached). It has blocks for name, address etc. Also lots of little boxes for an "x" to be typed. I don't want to make a true Acrobat Form, i.e., one for users to fill in, rather, just a one-time overlay and then print. The PDF is 4 pp. and has, maybe 150 such spots. I see that I could position individual text boxes at each such location, but I'm curious if there's a simpler way to just "type", in an "overlay" mode. If I must create text boxes, can one align them efficiently with the lines of the form, so that text is neat? I have full Acro 7 (actually the Creative Suite, if it matters). Thanks for any help.
