Hi all.
This is a text related problem I am facing.
I have a PDF file which has been created Acrobat Distiller 4.05 for
Windows. This file contains a few fonts out of which the fonts concerned
with my problem is having the following values :

* the font reference is named G1
BaseFont - Ryumin-Light-Identity-H
Encoding - Identity-H
DescendantFonts -
CIDSystemInfo - Ordering - Japan1
Registry - Adobe
Supplement - 2
FontDescriptor - Flags - 6
other values are also given.
other values are given like W, DW, Type and Subtype

Now the problem is that the text to which this font is applied to is given in
Tj. This text string is given in Octal values. When I read through the PDF
Reference Manual, it is informed that we can get special characters like
(\0053) which denotes 2 characters - \005 which is Control-E and the
digit 3.

I presume this is the similar kind of string that I am getting in my text
string. I have sampled out some of this below. The text string like
(\002y), (\016\275\r\256\003w\b\370) and (\b\242\013\325\002y) can't
be understood by me.

My question is how do I understand these characters and propably find
some value which is a know text format (ASCII or UNICODE). I cannot
interpret these text strings.
Please help me with this regards.

Thanks for giving a look at the problem I am having and trying to help
me out.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
