I really need help!

I installed v.7[pro] to evaluate...at the end of the eval period, I uninstalled it and reinstalled v.6[stan]. I haven't been able to create pdfs from any application--I've unin- and reinstalled several times, made sure the registry was clean, even unin- and reinstalled the two primary appls [word and pagemaker].

I need to use this for my business!! I'm feeling very paranoid--do I need to buy v.7 to get it to work again? [foaming at the mouth]

Thanks in advance for your help! And yes, I've done myriad searches on this topic...no help found yet. If I have to reformat I'm going to be REALLY mad! [peaceful smile]
