Topic: ColorSpace conversion using SDK

I am working to convert color space of a PDF document. e.g to convert a PDF to DeviceGray.

I am using the Adobe PDF Library verion 7. I couldnt find any high level method for doing the same.

Since I couldnt find any functionality in the PDF library except for the AV layer (dont have access to AV layer) to do this conversion. I am trying to iterate over all the objects in the PDF document and convert each one of them using PDF Edit API.

If there is a better solution do let me know. I mean if u can convert to other color spaces when printing it to a post script document and than distilling it again using a normalizer might be acceptable. But havent been able to achieve that.

I have managed to convert DeviceCMYK and DeviceRGB to DeviceGray. Also I have been able to convert ICC based CMYK and RGB and Spots.

I am having trouble converting Shading objects and DeviceN and Indexed colors to the desired color space.

Hope someone can help on this. Bit stuck on this at the moment.

Thanks & regards

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
