Topic: Acrobat does not complete conversion from Word to PDF

I'm trying to convert a 63-page Word document (which contains quite a few embedded Visio objects) into pdf format, but everytime I try, it goes up to 78% complete then it scans the file for bookmarks and then the dialog box just closes. When I think the conversion process is completed and check the location of where I chose to save the pdf, it's not there!

Why is the conversion not completed? I don't get any error messages or nothing to indicate I'm doing something wrong. It just seems to stop for no reason. Following the same process on a document with less pages works just fine. Any ideas as to what this could be? I'm using WinXP, Word2003 and Acrobat 6.0 Standard.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
