This is normally a sign that the file's xref table is not proper, but
Acrobat is able to repair it. If you only have Reader, you can ignore
this message (because you can't do anything with the file anyway).
If you have a full version of Acrobat at hand, you can open the file
and save it again. From then on, it should no longer display the
message.
If you created that application, you should have another look at the
creation of the xref table, and make sure that it is properly created.
