Without seeing the document in question, I am just making an
educated guess...
I suspect that you applied JBIG2 compression to your scanned
document. JBIG2 is a GREAT technology for scans for keeping the file
size down. However, as it is not supported natively on most printers
- the data must be uncompressed and then sent that way (uncompressed)
to the printer.
