Hello, I'm new to pdf's and this forum. I thought pdfs were simple and I am quickly finding out they are quite complex. I have a flash program, viewable at

I take a company's pdf brochure they have on the web for download and convert it to a series of images. Then I put the images in my flash program. The problem is, the text is just not quite clear enough. I've tried saving from adobe reader to jpg, text quality is horrible. I tried opening the pdf file directly to photoshop, this made it better, but still, you can see on the site, its just not quite clear enough.

How can I turn a pdf into an image, with a width of 570px and retain the text quality?

My marketing consultant has done a similar project and he said his last programmers kept mentioning how it was "layered" pdf's, but I don't see how layers will effect the quality. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
